Churches serve as major social hubs for Zimbabweans in the diaspora. Congregations provide spiritual support, community networks, and practical assistance for new arrivals. Popular denominations include Apostolic Faith Mission (AFM), ZAOGA/Forward in Faith Ministries International (FIFMI, founded by Ezekiel Guti), Methodist, Catholic, Anglican, and various Pentecostal churches. Many diaspora churches operate in Shona or Ndebele, preserving language and culture. Weekend services often extend into social events, connecting families and providing a taste of home.
