What is the Britain Zimbabwe Society?

The Britain Zimbabwe Society (BZS) was formed in 1981, shortly after Zimbabwe independence, to support people-to-people links between Britain and Zimbabwe. The BZS is a voluntary organisation that hosts public programmes, publishes the Zimbabwe Review quarterly magazine, and organises an annual Research Day covering topics relevant to Zimbabwe. Recent events have included the Zimbabwean Book Fair in London and arts celebrations. The BZS provides a space for both Zimbabweans in the UK and British people interested in Zimbabwe to connect, share knowledge, and discuss contemporary issues.
