Chatunga Mugabe drops bail bid, enters plea negotiations

Bellarmine Chatunga Mugabe, son of the late President Robert Mugabe, and co-accused Tobias Mugabe Matonhodze have abandoned their bail application and entered into plea negotiations with the state. Both men will remain in custody while negotiations proceed. The matter is expected to return to court on 17 March 2026.
