Combat Medical raises £2.6m Series A for cancer therapy device

Medical device manufacturer Combat Medical has raised £2.6m in the first close of its Series A funding round. The company develops devices to optimise delivery of cancer therapeutics, including a hyperthermic intravesical chemotherapy treatment called HIVEC. The new funding will be used to advance HIVEC through phase three clinical trials.
