DOJ and Europol dismantle SocksEscort proxy network tied to crypto fraud

Law enforcement agencies from the US and Europe seized 34 domains and 23 servers, and froze $3.5 million in cryptocurrency linked to SocksEscort. The proxy service had hijacked approximately 369,000 devices to facilitate crypto fraud. The joint operation was led by the DOJ and Europol.
