Zimbabwe seeks partners for $200M satellite project — Mthuli Ncube
Finance Minister Mthuli Ncube confirmed Zimbabwe is seeking international investors for a new satellite project expected to cost nearly US$200 million, intended to strengthen the country's telecommunications infrastructure. Zimbabwe launched its first mini satellite in November 2022 and a second in 2024. Ncube made the announcement to reporters in Harare, signalling the government's continued push into the space technology sector.
